As a member of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Ph.D Zhang is board certified in General Surgery. A graduate of Jilin Bethune Medical University， Dr. Zhang completed her surgical residency at Jilin University Second Hospital and her advanced surgical training in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute &Hospital in 2011 and M.D. Anderson cancer institute (Houston, the United States) in 2014. She was invited to annual congress at San Antonio (SABCS). Her laboratory research objectives are to better characterize the malignant phenotypes of breast cancer at the molecular level and to develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets.
Dr. Zhang received the funding from Science and Technology Administration of Jilin Province. She has also published several articles on breast surgery at peer reviewed SCI journals. She was again awarded the Scientific Progress Award by the Jilin Provincial Government.
