Dr. Jiang is an Associate Surgeon with the Division of General Surgery (Breast) at the Second Hospital of Jilin University. He completed his basic and advance surgical training at Jilin University, China in 2003. Subsequently, Dr. Jiang accomplished his post doctor project and his surgical residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the United States. His clinical interests include Modified Radical Mastectomy, Lumpectomy (Partial Mastectomy), Axillary lymph node dissection (ALND), as well as Sentinel lymph node biopsy et al.
Dr. Jiang’s team are making their endeavors on better characterizing the behavior of breast cancer at the molecular level and to utilize this information to design novel diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. Up to now, Dr. Jiang has published certain research articles in reputed journal in his field of interest. Dr. Jiang sponsored research projects funded by NIH and AHA. Attending multiple international annual academic conferences, Dr. Jiang is invited regularly to speak at International Breast Cancer Congress and Annual Scientific Meetings. In addition, he is also responsible for the edition of textbooks about breast diseases.
